Questions at naptime — Baby Alive interactive baby dolls

The questions we are asked most often, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

Can she drink anything other than water?

No. Water only. Juice and milk set inside the channel and the smell is permanent. This is the single most common reason a drink-and-wet doll stops being played with.

Why does my doll's hair look worse than the photograph?

Because photographs are taken before anybody has brushed from the roots. Nylon hair does not recover from being pulled, so work from the ends with a wide comb and a spray of water. A matted head can usually be rescued once with warm water and patience.

Which outfits fit which dolls?

Our mix-and-match clothing is cut for dolls between twelve and fourteen inches. The big grows-up dolls and the pocket-size friends need their own clothes. Measure crown to heel before ordering.

Do any of the sets need batteries?

Only the grows-up and talking dolls. Everything else in the nursery works mechanically, which is deliberate — a doll that cannot run out of power cannot disappoint anyone mid-game.

Is the price on this page the price I will pay?

It is the price we see today at the partner store, and it is the number we would quote you. Stores change prices without telling us, so the figure on the listing itself is always the one that counts.

Four notes from the nursery

Soft bodies suit 18 months; bottles and spoons start at three.
Nothing in our nursery needs a screen or an app.
Every set ships with the accessories shown on the pack.
Prams and furniture travel by a slower service than the small sets.

While you are here

The activities that matter at playtime are small and realistic: a bottle, a change, a nap. A toddler repeats them for months, and that is the joy an adorable interactive baby doll brings home. The ages on the set are a note about small parts.

Open the shelf, change the sort order, read the results in your own sequence and explore the collections that sit closest — our toys are grouped by what happens during play, not by price.
