At playtime: takes a bottle, makes baby sounds, moves on her own, grows through milestones and has hair to brush and style

Princess Ellie Grows Up, Brown Hair is a growing interactive doll from our own line, and we list her here with the price we see today.

Her whole set is about milestones and talking play, nothing more complicated than that.

What Princess Ellie Grows Up does at playtime

In our tests she takes a bottle, makes baby sounds, moves on her own, grows through milestones and has hair to brush and style.

An interactive baby doll earns her place through small activities — a bottle, a nap, a change of clothes — and that steady playtime is where the joy is.

We keep our dolls simple enough that a child can run the whole routine without an adult.

What comes in the set

The set list, straight from the pack:

She really Grows into a Princess: With kids’ care, this Baby Alive grow up doll grows into a princess doll. She starts at 14 inches (37 cm) and grows to 18 inches (45 cm) by rocking her and using her nurturing baby doll accessories
Interactive baby doll with sounds and phrases: This Princess Ellie doll is a talking toy and responds to care with 75 plus sounds and phrases. Talking toys make exciting holiday gifts.
Use growth chart to measure her: As the growing Baby Alive doll gets bigger, bouncing movements plus pretend feeding and drinking help her continue to grow
Dress-up with baby alive dolls accessories: This baby doll set includes a talking baby doll with hair. Place tiara hair extension on her head and style her brushable hair. Complete the royal transformation with her princess skirt
Play again and again: Return these to Baby mode and make this interactive doll grow over and over. These are fun baby dolls for girls and boys who loved the Baby Alive Baby Grows Up doll

Her tag, her stars and who she suits

At $104.97 she sits in the bigger half of the nursery.

Across 541 ratings she holds 4.7 out of five.

We mark her for ages 3 years and up, and that is about hand size as much as anything else.

For a toddler, the first doll is a hugging toy; the interactive set comes later.

Keeping her clean between play sessions

If her hair tangles, work from the ends upward with a wide comb — never pull from the roots.

Keep her face and hair away from ink and food colour; those marks are the ones that stay.

What families wrote about her

“Bought this for my 7 y/o granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it. Came with very detailed instructions. Will need adult help with some of them”

“My 3 year old daughter asked for this for Christmas. I was unaware of what it did or how to use it but it was all she wanted so I got one. Omg how amazing this doll is. It talks and eats and has a growth chart to show she is growing.”

Price, ratings and ages for this interactive baby doll

An interactive baby doll earns her keep through small activities: a bottle, a nap, a change of clothes. That is realistic playtime for a toddler, and the adorable face is the joy on top. Ages on the pack are about small parts in the set, not about taste. Everything on this shelf is made to play with daily.

Quick notes from the nursery

Water only in the bottle — never juice or milk.
Empty her and let her dry after a long session.
Brush doll hair from the ends, never from the roots.
Keep a refill pack in the cupboard before the last one runs out.
